Readers evaluated various travel destinations and services, including hotels, resorts, and cruises, and Noronha stood out with an impressive score of 95.24 (out of 100), far surpassing the runner-up, an island in Belize, which scored 86.43 points. Additionally, Noronha outperformed other prestigious global destinations such as Madeira, Portugal, and Bali, Indonesia, earning recognition not only as one of the best destinations in South America but also globally.

Although the Brazilian island ranked behind some winners from other regions, such as the Maldives (99.29 points), the Bahamas (99.51), and Fiji (96.51), its performance shines when compared to the top islands in Europe and Asia.

Noronha: Always a Favorite Among Travelers

A popular destination for celebrities like Bruno Gagliasso, Marina Ruy Barbosa, and Bruna Marquezine, this is not the first time Fernando de Noronha has received this honor. The archipelago was also named the best island in the region in 2022.

According to Traveller, the main appeal of Fernando de Noronha is its ability to offer a more exclusive and peaceful experience, far from the crowded beaches of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the island is described as “a collection of nature’s greatest hits.” Noronha enchants visitors with its crystal-clear waters, ideal for diving, scenic trails that showcase unique flora and fauna, and a breathtaking sunrise over the ocean.
